The AP8.9 bit amplifier was designed by Audison R&D Department to achieve maximum sound quality in OEM Integration applications. The powerful management software proves the ability to acquire the bit Drive presets which the Audison team fine-tuned specifically for your car. Thanks to the innovative power supply stage, a power of 520 W total can be achieved in an extremely compact case. The non-amplifiable ninth channel can be used to drive a subwoofer via the mono AP1 D amplifier.

Keep your factory features and expand your level of in-vehicle connectivity with iDatalink Maestro AR. When your AP bit* amplifier is installed into a compatible vehicle using the iDatalink Maestro AR interface, you’ll be able to enjoy the OEM receiver controls (volume, tone, balance, fader, source selection) to manage the equivalent DSP function of AP bit amplifiers, making this process transparent for the user. This way, all the Head Unit factory functions including Steering Wheel Controls, Media Player (AUX-in and USB ports), Hands-Free Telephone, Voice Commands, Satellite Radio will be totally maintained.Maestro iDatalink web site
  • * the optical input of the AP bit amps marked with a release version prior to R03 will be not usable when the amplifiers are connected with iDalink Maestro AR interface. R03 and R04 releases of all models will be fully compliant. You can check the release version on the bottom plate of the amp.
   DRC – Digital Remote Control
  • The DRC is the digital interface between the AP8.9 bit and the user. The DRC mounted in the vehicle dashboard, provides access to control of the inputs and volume adjustments, balance, fader and subwoofer volume. Providing source selection between main, aux and optical inputs, it also provides four of the configurations created and saved by the bit one right at hand. The DRC also controls the functions of the Audison Thesis amplifiers when these are installed in the same system.

   SPM4 –   4 Ch Stereo Passive Mixer
  • Recommended to extend the number of inputs of AP bit amplifiers because they feature a De-equalizer (De-Eq). In that case, any possible non-linear acoustic emissions due to the mixing of the pre-existing filtered channels are duly compensated.
   DRC MP – Digital Remote Control Multimedia Play (OPTIONAL)
  • The new Audison DRC MP (Digital Remote Control Multimedia Play) is compatible with all the Audison electronics featuring AC Link bus. Its slim profile along with the holder supplied with it eases the installation in the best position inside the car. Thanks to the new Joystick, “Rubber Touch” finished for best control of the movements along the four direction axes, the 'DRC Settings' menu can be adjusted and navigation is also possible through the 'Navy Command' function if the system features an Audison bit Play HD with video output connected to a monitor.
